2.  Information Collection

GetSetFix.com.au is an online marketplace matching people requiring a specific service (“Job Seekers”) with those providing that specific service (“Service Providers”).

Our primary purpose in collecting your personal information is to enable us to effectively match Job Seekers with Service Providers. This allows us to provide you with a service that will most likely meet your needs, and to customise our services to make your experience efficient and easy to use.

We will only collect personal information about you that we consider necessary for this purpose and to achieve this goal. If you choose not to provide us with any or all of your personal information, then we may not be able to provide you with an effective matching service.

Both Job Seekers and Service Providers will need to become a registered member of GetSetFix.com.au to obtain the benefit of matching Job Seekers with Service Providers.

To become a registered member of GetSetFix.com.au and obtain the benefits of membership, you will be required to register your contact details and other personal information with us and sign in as a member each time you visit GetSetFix.com.au.

The type of information we may collect from you includes your name, address, phone number, email address. This information is used to effectively match Job Seekers with Service Providers.

All registered GetSetFix.com.au members will be required to check the “I AGREE” checkbox on the Registration form once they have agreed to GetSetFix.com.au’s Privacy Policy and Terms & Conditions of Use.

Third Party Sites

GetSetFix.com.au allows certain third parties to advertise their services on our website. Whilst browsing through the GetSetFix.com.au website you may click through to these third party advertisements from our site. In such a case we strongly recommend that you visit the privacy statement of these third party sites.

This Privacy Policy is designed and intended only to apply to GetSetFix.com.au and its website. GetSetFix.com.au assumes no responsibility for the information and content of these third party sites.

Cookies

This information is used to diagnose server problems, monitor traffic patterns, analyse trends, administer the website, track member user patters, and identify the most popular areas of the website to deliver content most relevant to registered members.

IP addresses are not linked to personal identifiable information and are only used to gather broad demographic information for aggregate use.

3. How We Use and Disclose Your Information.

Job Seekers

Once a user has registered with GetSetFix.com.au as a Job Seeker and advertises for a specific service, some information is made accessible to the general public and Service Providers who may conduct searches of the GetSetFix.com.au database.

Such information made available to the public and Service Seekers includes your name, Job Category, Title, Description, Area, Start Date, and Budget. No other information is made accessible to the general public nor does the information disclosed identify the specificity of the individual Job Seeker.

A Job Seekers personal email address, name and telephone number is the only personal information revealed to a Service Provider ONLY AFTER the Service Provider has registered an interest in the Job and submits payment to GetSetFix.com.au.

Service Seekers

Once a user has registered with GetSetFix.com.au as a Service Seeker they will have the opportunity to register interest in any Job advertised by a Job Seeker. Once a Service Provider registers its interest in a specific Job and makes payment of the prescribed fee, the Job Seeker will be notified by GetSetFix.com.au that a Service Seeker has registered interest in their advertised Job and will be notified of the Service Seekers email address to facilitate contact between the Job Seeker and Service Provider.   

A Service Seekers personal email address, name and telephone number is the only personal information revealed to a Job Seeker ONLY AFTER the Service Provider has registered an interest in the Job and submits payment to GetSetFix.com.au.

4.  Ensure Your Information is Accurate, Correct, and Up-to-Date.

Registered members of GetSetFix.com.au may correct and update their personal information listed on the GetSetFix.com.au database by logging into My GSF once registered.

In addition, registered members who desire to opt out of GetSetFix.com.au and its services are required to forward an email to GetSetFix.com.au requesting that their profile be permanently deleted from the database.

If you choose not to provide us with any or all of your personal information, then we may not be able to provide you with an effective Job matching service.

5.  How Your Personal Information is Secured

GetSetFix.com.au understands that your personal information is important to you and that every step is taken to ensure that the GetSetFix.com.au database and the personal information of its members are securely held.

All personal information will be stored on the administrative database of GetSetFix.com.au. Access to the GetSetFix.com.au database is password protected and only accessible to authorised personnel. 

6.  Openness

GetSetFix.com.au has a policy of complete openness to its members. GetSetFix.com.au members are invited to request, generally, what sort of personal information we hold concerning a member, for what purposes that information is held, and how we collect, holds, use and discloses a member’s personal information.
